Autoflowering seeds
by Azarius
Kush Mints Auto seeds are an indica-dominant autoflowering hybrid that crosses Animal Mints, Bubba Kush, and Ruderalis genetics into a fast-finishing plant with 16–25% THC and a sharp minty-kush flavour profile. This is an Azarius exclusive — we developed these genetics in-house, and you won't find them in any other seed bank's catalogue. The ~70/30 indica-to-sativa ratio delivers a heavy, body-focused evening stone that settles in behind the eyes and works its way down. If you've grown autoflowers before, you know the drill: pop the seed, give it light, and let it do its thing. No photoperiod fiddling, no 12/12 light switch. Seed to harvest in 8–10 weeks.
Four pack sizes, each with a clear use case. Don't overbuy if you're running a single tent, and don't underbuy if you want to pheno-hunt.
| Pack Size | SKU | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| 1 seed | A01002401 | First-time growers testing a single plant, or anyone squeezing one auto into a small tent or windowsill setup. |
| 3 seeds | A01002403 | A solid starter pack. Run all three side by side and keep notes on which phenotype you like best for your next cycle. |
| 5 seeds | A01002405 | Fills a 1 m² canopy comfortably. Gives you a couple of extras in case a seed doesn't pop — it happens. |
| 10 seeds | A01002410 | Serious growers running multiple tents or outdoor plots. Also the way to go if you want to pheno-hunt properly and select a standout plant. |
Our pick for most growers: the 5-pack. It gives you enough plants to fill a standard 1 m² tent without wasting seeds, and if one or two run a bit different in structure, you've still got a full canopy. The 3-pack works too if you're tight on space — but we'd skip the single seed unless you're genuinely just testing the genetics before committing.
The flavour on this one is the real selling point. Crack open a cured jar and you get a sharp peppermint punch layered over doughy, biscuity sweetness — that's the Animal Mints parentage doing its work. Underneath, there's a deep earthy kush funk from the Bubba Kush side that rounds things out on the exhale. It's not subtle. Your grinder will smell like a mint biscuit tin for days.
The smoke itself is smooth and cool — the mint terpenes seem to take the edge off the inhale, even in a dry pipe. Through a vaporiser at around 185–195°C, the mint comes through even cleaner, with a creamy, almost vanilla-like undertone that you miss when combusting. If you've grown standard Kush Mints photoperiod cuts before, the auto version runs a touch lighter on the mint but heavier on the earthy base. Still unmistakably Kush Mints, though.
The effect profile leans heavily indica. Expect a slow onset — 10 to 15 minutes — that starts as a gentle pressure behind the forehead before dropping into the body. Shoulders loosen, legs get heavy, and the sofa becomes very interesting. At the higher end of the 16–25% THC range, this is a proper evening-only strain. We wouldn't recommend it before anything that requires standing up for extended periods. Common side effects reported by users include dry mouth and dry eyes, particularly at higher doses.
Kush Mints Auto seeds are autoflowering, which means the plant transitions from vegetative growth to flowering based on age rather than light cycle. You can run 18/6, 20/4, or even 24/0 light schedules from seed to harvest without changing a thing. Most growers we talk to get the best balance of yield and electricity cost at 20/4.

Indoor yields of 400–550 g/m² are realistic in a well-dialled setup — that means proper lighting (LED or HPS, 400W+ equivalent), good airflow, and a decent growing medium. Outdoors, individual plants can push 450–650 g each in a warm, sunny climate with a long growing season. Those are solid numbers for an autoflower. Most autos we've stocked over the years top out around 400 g/m² indoors, so the Kush Mints Auto sits at the upper end.
The one honest limitation: like most autos, you can't clone her. What you pop is what you get. If you find a phenotype you absolutely love, you'll need to pop more seeds from the same pack to try and find her again. That's why we'd nudge you toward the 5 or 10-pack if you're serious about dialling in a keeper pheno.
Running Kush Mints Auto seeds in a tent? Pair them with the Dark Box 80x80x160 for a compact canopy that fits 3–5 plants. If you're growing in soil, our pre-mixed organic substrate takes the guesswork out of medium prep. And grab a carbon filter — this strain is loud once she starts flowering, and your neighbours don't need to know about your hobby.
We've been stocking autoflowering seeds at Azarius since they were a novelty — back when "auto" meant tiny plants with mediocre potency that barely justified the pot they grew in. That era is long gone. Kush Mints Auto represents what modern autoflower breeding can actually deliver: 16–25% THC, yields that compete with photoperiod strains, and a terpene profile that would hold its own in any Amsterdam coffeeshop menu.
The real advantage here is time. An 8–10 week seed-to-harvest cycle means you can run 4–5 full cycles per year indoors, compared to 2–3 with a typical photoperiod strain. Outdoor growers in northern Europe can pop seeds in May and harvest before the autumn rains hit. That speed, combined with the fact that you don't need a separate veg and flower room (or a timer switch), makes this strain genuinely practical for growers who want results without complexity.
Compared to other indica-dominant autos in our catalogue, the Kush Mints Auto stands out on flavour. Most heavy indicas taste like earth and fuel — fine if that's your thing, but the mint-cookie profile here is a genuine differentiator. If you've been growing the same OG Kush or Northern Lights autos for years, this is the one to break the routine. And since it's an Azarius exclusive, you're not going to see these genetics diluted across every seed bank on the internet. We developed them, we stock them, and that's it.
Kush Mints Auto is an indica-dominant autoflowering hybrid bred from Animal Mints × Bubba Kush × Ruderalis genetics. The ~70/30 indica-to-sativa ratio produces a heavy body effect with a distinctive minty-kush flavour. This particular version is an Azarius exclusive.
8–10 weeks from germination to harvest. Most plants are ready to chop around week 9. Cooler growing temperatures or lower light intensity can push it closer to 10 weeks, while dialled-in indoor setups with strong lighting often finish at the 8-week mark.
Dry mouth and dry eyes are the most frequently reported side effects, particularly at higher doses. The heavy indica effect can also cause significant drowsiness, so it's best reserved for evening use. Start with a small amount if you're not used to strains in the 20%+ THC range.
No. Autoflowering genetics mean the plant flowers based on age, not light schedule. Run 18/6 or 20/4 from seed to harvest — no need to switch to 12/12. This also means you can grow Kush Mints Auto alongside vegetating photoperiod plants in the same tent.
400–550 g/m² indoors under good lighting and proper growing conditions. Outdoors, individual plants can produce 450–650 g each. These are strong numbers for an autoflower — most autos in our catalogue sit closer to 350–400 g/m².
Yes. Autoflowering genetics remove the most common beginner mistake — getting the light cycle wrong. The plant handles itself on a fixed schedule. Grab a single seed or 3-pack to start, keep temperatures at 22–26°C, don't overwater, and you'll be fine.
No. Autoflowering plants can't be cloned effectively because the clone inherits the mother's age and will flower on the same internal clock, giving you a tiny plant with almost no yield. If you find a phenotype you love, buy another pack and pop more seeds.
Sharp peppermint and cool menthol upfront, with a doughy, biscuit-like sweetness from the Animal Mints genetics. The Bubba Kush side adds deep earthy kush funk on the exhale. Expect your drying room to smell strongly — a carbon filter is not optional with this strain.
