We'll only email you about this product — no marketing.
The Metal Pipe Mushroom is a 3-part anodised metal pipe disguised as a tiny mushroom ornament — unscrew the cap, reattach the bowl to the stem, and you've got a fully functional pipe that fits in the palm of your hand. At roughly the size of a keychain charm, it's about as discreet as smoking accessories get. Available in 7 colours, from understated Chrome and Black to properly loud Red and Gold.
| Colour | SKU | Vibe |
|---|---|---|
| Red | HSMP0031 | Classic — the one most people picture |
| Blue | HSMP0032 | Cool-toned, blends into a keyring |
| Purple | HSMP0033 | A bit bolder, stands out |
| Green | HS0586 | Earthy, the most "actual mushroom" look |
| Gold | HSMP0035 | Flashy — conversation starter |
| Chrome | HSMP0066 | Sleek, minimal, easiest to keep clean-looking |
| Black | HS0585 | Stealth mode — our pick for discretion |
All 7 colours are the same pipe underneath. The anodised finish is cosmetic only, so pick whichever one makes you smile. If you're going for maximum discretion, Black or Chrome look the least like a pipe even when someone's holding it.

Pair the Metal Pipe Mushroom with a set of metal pipe screens to keep ash out of the stem — the bowl is small, so a screen makes a noticeable difference. A pocket-sized grinder also helps here; finely ground material packs better in a bowl this tiny.
We've sold dozens of novelty pipes over the years, and the mushroom pipe keeps coming back to the shop for one reason: it actually works as well as it hides. Most "disguised" pipes are either too clever for their own good (impossible to reassemble without a manual) or so flimsy that the novelty wears off faster than the anodising. This one threads together in about 3 seconds, the metal is solid enough that it doesn't feel like a toy, and the bowl — while small — holds enough for a quick solo session.
The honest limitation? The bowl is genuinely tiny. If you're used to packing a full-sized glass pipe, you'll get maybe 2–3 good draws from this before you need to reload. That's the trade-off for something that disappears into a jacket pocket or sits on a shelf looking like a decorative mushroom. For festivals, travel, or just keeping things discreet at home, that trade-off is worth it. For your main daily driver, you'd probably want something with a bigger bowl — a standard metal or glass pipe gives you more capacity and a cooler draw.
The anodised finish holds up reasonably well, though it will show wear over time if you're tossing it loose into a bag with keys and coins. The threading on the 3 parts stays tight — we haven't had complaints about cross-threading, which is the usual failure point on cheap multi-part metal pipes. The weight in your hand is noticeable for something so small; it feels like a solid little object, not a hollow tin novelty. That density is actually part of the disguise — it passes as a desk ornament or shelf trinket without raising questions.
Roughly 5–6 cm tall when assembled as a mushroom — about the length of your thumb. It fits comfortably in a closed fist and weighs very little. Genuinely one of the smallest functional pipes you can buy.
No, screens are sold separately. The bowl is small enough that you can use it without one, but a screen stops fine material from pulling through the stem. We'd recommend picking up a pack of small metal pipe screens alongside it.
You can, but the bowl holds very little — enough for 2–3 draws at most. It's best as a travel or backup pipe. For regular daily use, a standard-sized metal or glass pipe gives you a bigger bowl and a smoother draw.
Unscrew all 3 parts, soak them in 90%+ isopropyl alcohol for 15–20 minutes, then rinse with warm water and dry fully. A pipe cleaner through the stem helps clear residue. Clean it after every few sessions to keep the draw smooth.
Over time, yes — especially if you carry it loose with keys or coins. The finish is durable for normal use but it's a cosmetic coating, not indestructible. Chrome and Black tend to show wear the least visibly.
Not entirely. The threading creates a fairly tight seal, but residue in the bowl will still carry a faint smell. Give it a quick clean before reassembling into mushroom form if discretion matters.
One each, realistically. The bowl is sized for solo use — you'll empty it in a couple of draws. For sharing, a larger pipe or a standard-sized bowl is a better fit.
