Rolling papers
by RAW
The RAW Classic Cone Loader is a simple two-piece filling tool that takes the faff out of packing pre-rolled cones. Instead of pinching, tapping, and spilling half your blend across the table, you get a funnel and a packer that do the job in seconds. It measures 11 cm long by 5.5 cm wide — small enough to toss in a drawer or travel pouch, sturdy enough to use daily.

Complete your setup: grab a pack of RAW Classic King Size Cones or RAW Organic Hemp Cones to pair with this loader. A RAW rolling tray underneath catches any stray material and keeps your surface clean.
We've watched people pack cones by hand behind the counter for over 25 years. The routine is always the same: pinch a bit of blend, funnel it in with your fingers, tap the cone on the table, repeat four or five times, then try to pack it down with a pen or a chopstick. Half the blend ends up on the table. The cone ends up either too loose — burning unevenly and canoeing down one side — or too tight, barely drawing at all.
The RAW Classic Cone Loader skips all of that. The funnel sits snugly over the cone opening, so you load your blend in one go without spillage. The packer — a flat-tipped stick that fits inside the funnel — lets you compress evenly from the top down. The result is a consistently packed cone every time, and the whole process takes about 15 seconds instead of 2 minutes of fiddling.
One honest limitation: this loader works best with standard-sized cones (King Size, 1¼). If you're using the massive RAW Challenge Cones or very slim cones, the funnel opening won't match up. For everyday cone sizes, though, it's the best cheap tool for the job.
It's lightweight — almost surprisingly so. The plastic is smooth but not slippery, and the funnel has a slight taper that guides material downward without clogging. The packer has a satisfying firmness when you press down; you can feel the blend compressing evenly. There's no flex or wobble. For something that costs less than a coffee, the build quality is better than the generic cone stuffers you see floating around. RAW clearly designed this to match the dimensions of their own cones, and that precision shows.
| Method | Time per cone | Consistency | Spillage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hand packing (fingers + pen) | 1–2 minutes | Varies — often loose or uneven | Moderate to high |
| RAW Classic Cone Loader | 10–15 seconds | Even compression every time | Minimal — funnel catches stray material |
The difference is most obvious when you're loading more than one cone. Packing 5 cones by hand can take 10 minutes and leave a mess. With the loader, you'll have all 5 done in under 2 minutes with a clean surface.
We started stocking these because customers kept asking for something — anything — to make cone filling less annoying. The RAW Cone Loader is the one we hand people first. It's cheap, it works, and it doesn't require a YouTube tutorial to figure out. We've tried fancier electric cone-filling machines and elaborate multi-cone setups, but for personal use — filling 1 to 5 cones at a time — this 2-piece loader is honestly all you need. Save the fancy gear for when you're filling 50 cones for a party.
The one thing we'd flag: clean the funnel after a few uses. Residue builds up on the inside walls and can make the blend stick instead of sliding. A quick wipe with a dry cloth or a pipe cleaner sorts it in seconds.
It fits standard sizes like King Size and 1¼ cones well. Very large cones (like the RAW Challenge Cone) or ultra-slim cones won't match the funnel opening. For the sizes most people use day-to-day, it works without issue.
None — this is the loader tool only (funnel + packer). You'll need to buy pre-rolled cones separately. RAW Classic Cones and RAW Organic Hemp Cones are the natural pairing.
Yes. Any standard-diameter pre-rolled cone will work. The funnel taper is sized for the most common cone openings, regardless of brand.
Wipe the inside of the funnel and the packer with a dry cloth or pipe cleaner after every few sessions. If residue builds up, a cotton bud dipped in isopropyl alcohol clears it quickly. Let it dry fully before the next use.
Absolutely. It's a solid plastic tool, not a disposable. With basic cleaning, it lasts for hundreds of uses without any degradation in fit or function.
Uneven burn usually comes from grind consistency, not the loader itself. If your blend is too coarse or has stems, one side burns faster. Use a grinder to get a medium, even consistency before loading, and pack with moderate pressure — not too tight, not too loose.
A rolling machine rolls a joint from a flat paper. The cone loader fills a pre-rolled cone that already has its shape. If you prefer cones over hand-rolled joints, the loader is the right tool. If you prefer rolling from scratch, look at a RAW rolling machine instead.
