The DynaVap DynaCoil is a titanium coil insert that turns any DynaVap vaporizer into a concentrate-ready device. Machined from a single piece of medical-grade titanium, it replaces the standard screen in your tip and gives thick oils, waxes, and concentrates a proper surface to sit on while vapour flows freely through the jagged coil pattern. If you've been loading concentrates directly onto your screen and watching half of it melt into places it shouldn't — this is the fix.

Complete your concentrate setup: the DynaVap DynaCoil pairs naturally with any DynaVap vaporizer — if you're running an M or an OmniVap, you're sorted. Already vaping dry herb too? Keep a set of DynaVap Dosing Capsules on hand so you can switch between flower and concentrates without a full clean each time. A DynaVap Fat Mouthpiece also helps cool the vapour when you're running hotter sessions with wax.
Here's the thing about loading concentrates into a DynaVap without a DynaCoil: it works, sort of. The wax melts, drips through the screen, gums up the condenser, and you spend more time cleaning than vaping. We've seen it dozens of times behind the counter — someone brings in a sticky, clogged DynaVap and asks what went wrong. The answer is almost always: no coil.
The DynaCoil's jagged pattern holds your concentrate in place above the airpath. The wax melts into the grooves of the coil rather than dripping straight down into the body of your vape. That means more of your material actually gets vaporised and less of it ends up as residue clogging your condenser. For a small titanium coil, the difference in efficiency is genuinely noticeable — you'll get more visible vapour from the same amount of concentrate.
One honest limitation: the DynaCoil doesn't magically turn your DynaVap into a dedicated dab rig. You're still working with a small chamber heated by a torch or induction heater, so massive loads aren't the idea here. Think rice-grain-sized dabs. That said, for on-the-go concentrate sessions or microdosing wax, there's nothing simpler. No batteries, no electronics, no glass to break — just titanium and a flame.
We get asked this a lot: "Can't I just put wax on the screen?" Technically, yes. Practically, it's a mess. Here's how the two approaches compare.
| Factor | With DynaCoil | Without DynaCoil (screen only) |
|---|---|---|
| Concentrate retention | Held in coil grooves — minimal drip-through | Melts through screen into condenser |
| Vapour production | Noticeably thicker, more consistent | Thinner, less efficient |
| Cleaning frequency | Every 3–5 sessions (coil only) | After nearly every session (full disassembly) |
| Material waste | Low — most concentrate vaporises | Higher — residue builds in condenser |
| Ease of loading | Drop onto coil surface | Tricky to keep on flat screen |
Titanium is forgiving, but concentrate residue builds up fast. After about 3–5 sessions you'll notice the coil looks dark and sticky, and the flavour starts tasting reclaimed rather than fresh. That's your cue.
Drop the DynaCoil into a small container of isopropyl alcohol (90% or higher works best) and let it soak for 15–30 minutes. For stubborn buildup, a gentle scrub with a soft brush does the job. Rinse with warm water, let it air dry fully, and it's ready to go. Don't skip the drying step — residual alcohol in a heated chamber tastes awful and you'll know immediately.
The coil itself is practically indestructible. Medical-grade titanium doesn't corrode, doesn't degrade with heat cycling, and won't warp. We've seen DynaCoils that have been in rotation for years with zero structural issues. The only thing that wears out is your patience for cleaning — which is why keeping to that 3–5 session schedule matters. It's a 2-minute job when you stay on top of it, and a 20-minute soak when you don't.
Yes. The DynaCoil is compatible with all DynaVap vaporizers that use a standard tip. Remove the screen, twist the coil in, and you're set. It works with the M series, OmniVap, and any other model using standard DynaVap tips.
No — the DynaCoil is designed specifically for concentrates, thick oils, and waxes. For dry herb, use the standard screen that came with your DynaVap. Swapping between the two takes about 30 seconds.
A rice-grain-sized amount — roughly 0.02–0.05 g — is the sweet spot. Overloading causes the concentrate to melt past the coil and into the condenser, which defeats the purpose. Less is more here; you can always reload.
Every 3–5 sessions, or when you switch concentrate types. Soak in isopropyl alcohol for 15–30 minutes, rinse, and dry completely. A clean coil means better flavour and more efficient vaporisation.
Absolutely. The DynaCoil sits inside the tip, so the heating method doesn't matter. Whether you use a single-flame torch, a triple-flame, or an induction heater, the coil functions identically. The cap's click mechanism still controls your temperature.
It's machined from a single piece of medical-grade titanium — the same grade used in surgical implants. It doesn't off-gas at DynaVap operating temperatures and won't corrode or degrade over time. About as inert as a vaping surface gets.
You can, but you'll lose the ability to vape dry herb until you swap the screen back in. If you only vape concentrates, leaving it in is fine. Most people keep both the coil and a spare screen handy so they can switch depending on what they're loading.
