The Big Face Mini Dab Rig is a compact 11.5 cm dab rig by Goody Glass that delivers smooth, flavour-packed vapour through a built-in 4-hole disc percolator. Standing barely taller than a lighter, this mini dab rig punches well above its weight — cooling each hit efficiently while keeping your concentrates tasting exactly as they should. It ships with a banger, dab tool, and carb cap, so you're ready to go straight out of the box.
Smaller dab rigs produce better flavour — that's not opinion, that's physics. Less airspace between the banger and your lungs means the vapour stays dense and cool, with minimal oxidation stripping away terpene profiles. The Big Face Mini Dab Rig takes that principle and runs with it. At just 11.5 cm, the vapour path is short enough to preserve every note of your concentrate while the 4-hole disc percolator diffuses the hit through water, knocking out harshness without diluting taste.
We've handled a lot of mini rigs over the years, and the thing that separates a good one from a wobbly novelty piece is glass thickness. Goody Glass uses heavy-duty borosilicate throughout — you can feel the weight when you pick it up. It sits stable on a table, doesn't feel like it'll tip if you sneeze near it, and it can take the odd knock without cracking. The joints are clean, the welds are smooth, and the percolator holes are evenly spaced. It's a proper piece of kit dressed up in a fun package.
The honest limitation? It's tiny. If you're used to full-size rigs with multiple percolators and ice catchers, this won't replace that experience. What it will do is give you a portable, dead-simple daily driver that you can stash in a drawer, toss in a bag, or keep on your desk without it looking like laboratory equipment. For a quick session or a mate's house, it's the best mini dab rig we'd recommend at this price point.
Everything you need for your first dab is included — no hunting for accessories.

Complete your dab setup with a proper butane torch for even heating — a standard lighter won't cut it with a quartz banger. A silicone dab mat keeps your surface clean and gives the rig a non-slip base. If you're after a portable storage solution, check out the smell-proof bags in our smokeshop for discreet transport.
A disc percolator sits flat inside the base of the rig, with 4 precisely drilled holes that force vapour to split into smaller bubbles as it passes through the water. More bubbles means more surface area in contact with water, which cools the hit and filters out micro-particles. The result is a noticeably smoother draw compared to a straight-tube mini rig with no percolation.
Because this is a mini dab rig, you don't need much water — just enough to cover the disc by about 5 mm. Overfilling is the number one mistake we see. Too much water and you get splashback in your mouth; too little and the perc can't do its job. The clear glass makes it easy to see your water level, which is a genuine advantage over coloured or opaque rigs.
One of the genuine perks of a rig this small: cleaning takes about 2 minutes. Pour out the water after each session — stale water tastes grim and builds up residue fast. Once a week (or more if you're a daily dabber), pour some isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt into the rig, cover the openings, and give it a good shake for 30 seconds. Rinse with warm water and it's back to crystal clear. The Goody face on the mouthpiece is raised, not painted on, so it won't wear off from cleaning.
The quartz banger needs attention too. Swab it with a dry cotton bud after every dab while it's still warm. If you let residue build up and carbonise, you'll need to soak the banger in isopropyl overnight. A clean banger is the single biggest factor in flavour quality — more than temperature, more than your concentrate's price tag.
We get a lot of customers who start with big, elaborate rigs and then circle back to something like the Big Face Mini. The reason is always the same: convenience. A full-size rig is brilliant for a weekend session, but nobody wants to set up a 30 cm glass piece on a Tuesday evening after work. This little Goody Glass rig lives on your desk, goes in your bag, and takes 2 minutes to clean. It's the dab rig equivalent of a reliable daily driver — nothing flashy, just works every time.
The Goody face moulded into the mouthpiece is a nice touch. It's a bit daft, honestly — a grinning face staring back at you while you take a hit. But it makes the piece feel less like generic lab glass and more like something with a bit of character. Customers who've bought it tend to come back for other Goody Glass pieces, which tells you something about the build quality.
Just enough to cover the 4-hole disc percolator by about 5 mm. Do a dry pull before heating anything — if water reaches your lips, tip some out. With a mini dab rig this size, you're talking a few tablespoons at most.
No. This is designed specifically for concentrates. The included quartz banger is made for dabbing waxes and oils. For dry herbs, you'd want a standard bong or a dry herb vaporiser instead.
It comes with a standard quartz banger that fits the joint. If you ever need a replacement, check the joint size (typically 10 mm or 14 mm on mini rigs) before ordering. The included banger works well, so there's no rush to upgrade.
For flavour, yes — arguably better. The shorter vapour path means less terpene loss and less air contact. You won't get the same volume of vapour as a large rig with multiple percolators, but each hit is denser and more flavourful. For daily use, most dabbers actually prefer a compact rig like this one.
Pour isopropyl alcohol and a pinch of coarse salt through the mouthpiece, cover both openings, and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. The salt acts as an abrasive to dislodge residue from the percolator holes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water afterwards. Do this weekly for the best results.
The heavy-duty Goody Glass gives it a solid base relative to its 11.5 cm height. It's more stable than you'd expect for a mini rig. That said, it's still small glass — don't leave it on the edge of a table or near pets. Common sense applies.
Heat for 20–30 seconds with a butane torch, then wait 30–45 seconds before dabbing. This gets you into the low-temp range (around 200–260°C), which preserves flavour and produces smoother vapour. If you see the concentrate pool without vaporising, your banger cooled too much — heat for a few more seconds next time.
