A disc percolator sits flat inside the base of the rig, with 4 precisely drilled holes that force vapour to split into smaller bubbles as it passes through the water. More bubbles means more surface area in contact with water, which cools the hit and filters out micro-particles. The result is a noticeably smoother draw compared to a straight-tube mini rig with no percolation.

Pour isopropyl alcohol and a pinch of coarse salt through the mouthpiece, cover both openings, and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. The salt acts as an abrasive to dislodge residue from the percolator holes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water afterwards. Do this weekly for the best results.

Heat for 20–30 seconds with a butane torch, then wait 30–45 seconds before dabbing. This gets you into the low-temp range (around 200–260°C), which preserves flavour and produces smoother vapour. If you see the concentrate pool without vaporising, your banger cooled too much — heat for a few more seconds next time.
