Water pipes & bongs
by Tsunami Glass
The Double Honeycomb Dab Rig 15" from Tsunami Glass is a borosilicate glass water pipe that delivers exceptionally smooth, flavourful hits through twin honeycomb percolators. Standing 15 inches tall with a sturdy base and polished rounded accents, this rig filters your vapour twice before it reaches your lips — producing a cool, clean draw that lets you taste your concentrates properly. If you've been dabbing through a basic rig and wondering why the flavour seems muted, this is the upgrade that makes the difference obvious.
Tsunami Glass packs everything you need to get started straight away. No hunting for a compatible banger or wondering about joint sizes — it's all sorted.

Complete your setup: A reliable butane torch is non-negotiable for heating a quartz banger evenly. Pair this rig with a dab tool and a silicone mat to keep your concentrates off the table and your glass off hard surfaces. If you prefer lower-temperature dabs, a carb cap will help you get the most out of every hit.
A single honeycomb percolator already does serious work — dozens of tiny holes break your vapour into a swarm of small bubbles, massively increasing the surface area that contacts water. More contact means more cooling and more filtration. Now double that. With two honeycomb discs stacked inside this 15-inch chamber, your draw passes through two separate filtration stages before it reaches the mouthpiece. The result is a noticeably smoother, cooler hit compared to single-perc rigs.
We've handled a lot of dab rigs over the years, and the difference between a single perc and a double is something you feel on the very first pull. The drag is slightly increased — you'll notice a gentle resistance — but the payoff in smoothness is worth it. If you've ever coughed your way through a dab on a basic rig and thought "there must be a better way," there is, and it involves honeycomb discs.
The splash guard above the upper honeycomb is a small detail that matters more than you'd think. Double percolation creates a lot of bubbling action, and without a guard, water can creep up toward your mouth. Tsunami Glass positioned the guard to catch any splashback before it reaches you. Dry lips, wet vapour — that's the goal.
Borosilicate glass is the same stuff used in laboratory beakers — it handles thermal shock far better than standard soda-lime glass. You can heat your banger to 300°C+ without worrying about the joint cracking from temperature transfer. The walls on this Tsunami rig feel solid in the hand; there's a reassuring weight to it when you pick it up. The green accents on the rounded sections give it a clean, finished look that doesn't scream "student flat."
The honest limitation? At 15 inches, this isn't a discreet piece. It's a proper tabletop rig — you'll want a stable surface and enough clearance to use it comfortably. It's also not the most portable option. If you're after something you can toss in a bag for a mate's house, look at a smaller recycler-style rig instead. But if you've got a dedicated spot at home and you want the smoothest dab setup in that mid-range price bracket, the 15-inch height actually works in your favour — more chamber space means more cooling before the vapour hits your throat.
One more thing: honeycomb percolators need regular cleaning. Those dozens of tiny holes that make the filtration so effective will clog if you let residue build up. A weekly soak in isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt keeps everything flowing. Skip the cleaning and you'll notice the drag increasing within a few sessions.
We've been selling glassware since the early 2000s, and the most common mistake we see with honeycomb rigs is overfilling. People assume more water equals smoother hits, but if the water level is too high above the upper disc, you're just increasing drag without improving filtration. Keep it just above the lower honeycomb, do a test pull, and adjust from there. The sweet spot is where both discs bubble actively without any water reaching the splash guard.
The quartz banger that ships with this rig is perfectly functional for getting started. That said, if you find yourself dabbing regularly and want to dial in your temperature control, upgrading to a thicker-walled quartz banger (3–4mm walls) will hold heat longer and give you a wider window for low-temp dabs. But straight out of the box, you're sorted.
A honeycomb percolator is a flat glass disc with dozens of small holes. As vapour passes through, it splits into many tiny bubbles, increasing the surface area that contacts water. This cools and filters the vapour before you inhale. With two honeycomb discs in this rig, your draw is filtered twice — noticeably smoother than a single-perc setup.
Borosilicate glass contains boron trioxide, which makes it resistant to thermal shock. Standard glass can crack when exposed to rapid temperature changes — a real risk when you're torching a banger attached to a water pipe. Borosilicate handles it without issue. It's the same material used in lab equipment and high-end cookware.
The splash guard sits above the upper honeycomb percolator and catches water that gets pushed upward by the bubbling action. Double honeycomb rigs generate a lot of agitation in the water, so without a guard, you'd occasionally get water in your mouth. It keeps your draw clean and dry.
Once a week with regular use. Fill the chamber with isopropyl alcohol (90%+) and coarse salt, cover the openings, and shake. Let it soak for 20–30 minutes if the buildup is stubborn. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. The honeycomb holes clog faster than open percolators, so don't skip maintenance — you'll feel the drag increase within a few sessions.
Technically yes — you'd need to swap the quartz banger for a 14mm bowl piece. The double honeycomb filtration works just as well with smoke as it does with vapour. That said, this rig is optimised for concentrates. The chamber volume and percolation are designed for the lighter draw that dabbing requires. For heavy dry herb sessions, a beaker bong with a diffused downstem might suit you better.
Fill until the water sits about 1 cm above the lower honeycomb disc. Do a dry pull (no heat, no concentrate) — both discs should bubble, and no water should reach your lips or the splash guard. If water splashes up, pour a little out. Getting the level right takes 30 seconds and makes a real difference to the draw.
It depends on your setup. Larger rigs provide more cooling distance between the banger and your mouth, which means smoother hits. The trade-off is portability — this is a tabletop piece, not something you'd carry around. If you want something compact for on-the-go use, a 7–9 inch rig is more practical. For home use, 15 inches is a sweet spot between filtration and comfort.
