We'll only email you about this product — no marketing.
The Mr. Twister is a hand-blown borosilicate glass ice bong made exclusively for our shop by Ehle — one of the most respected names in German glassblowing. Standing 450mm tall with a signature twisted midsection, this is a bong that looks as good on a shelf as it performs in a session. Each piece is individually inspected and signed by Mr. Ehle himself, so what you're getting isn't mass-produced kit — it's a numbered piece of functional glass art.
Every Mr. Twister ships as a complete, ready-to-use setup — no hunting for compatible parts.
The numbers that matter when you're choosing a glass ice bong — every dimension checked against the actual piece.

The Mr. Twister is made from borosilicate glass — the same type used in laboratory equipment. That matters because borosilicate handles thermal shock far better than standard soda-lime glass. Pour ice water in, light up, and the glass doesn't care. The 5mm wall thickness puts it firmly in the "sturdy daily driver" category rather than the "display piece you're terrified of knocking" category.
Pick it up and you'll notice the weight immediately — this isn't a thin-walled tube that feels like it might snap if you grip too hard. The twisted section in the middle isn't just decorative, either. It adds structural rigidity to the midsection and gives you a natural grip point. The glass-on-glass downstem and bowl seat flush with no wobble — Ehle's tolerances are tight, and you can feel it when you slot the pieces together. There's a satisfying click rather than a loose rattle.
The 18.8mm joint is the industry standard, so if you ever want to swap the bowl for an ash catcher or a different bowl size with an adapter, you've got options. But honestly, the included glass bowl does the job well. It's thick-walled, holds a decent pack, and the hole size is sensible — fine enough to stop pull-through without restricting airflow.
One honest note: the optional carb hole is a love-it-or-leave-it feature. If you're used to lifting the bowl to clear the chamber, you might never touch it. But if you come from a pipe background, you'll appreciate having it there. It's neatly finished either way — no rough edges or afterthought feel.
We've sold bongs since 1999 — cheap ones, mid-range ones, and proper glass. The difference between a budget bong and something like the Mr. Twister comes down to three things: how it hits, how long it lasts, and how it feels in your hands.
Cheap bongs tend to have thin walls (2-3mm), wobbly joints, and rubber grommets that perish within months. The seal degrades, you lose suction, and eventually you're holding a tube that functions about as well as a rolled-up newspaper. The Mr. Twister's 5mm borosilicate walls and ground-glass 18.8mm joint solve both problems. No grommets to replace. No seals to degrade. Glass-on-glass means airtight every time.
Then there's the ice notch feature. Drop a few cubes into the tube and the smoke passes over them before reaching your lungs. The difference is immediate — cooler, smoother draws that don't catch in your throat. On a 450mm tube, the smoke has a decent travel distance even before it hits the ice, so you're getting double cooling: water filtration at the base, ice cooling at the top. If you've only ever used a short bong without ice notches, the first pull from a Mr. Twister will genuinely surprise you.
And then there's the fact that each one is signed. Ehle doesn't stamp a logo and ship it. Mr. Ehle personally inspects every piece. That's unusual at this price point — most brands reserve hand-inspection for their top-tier limited editions. Here, it's standard.
If you're weighing up your options, here's how the Mr. Twister stacks up against other glass bongs we carry.

The standard Ehle straight tube is a brilliant bong — we'd never tell you otherwise. But the Mr. Twister adds the twisted midsection (which genuinely improves grip and looks stunning), the exclusive design, and Mr. Ehle's personal sign-off. If you want a workhorse, the straight tube does the job. If you want something with a bit of character that you won't see at anyone else's place, this is it.
Complete your setup with a set of activated carbon filters for even smoother draws — the carbon removes additional particulates before the smoke reaches the water. A dedicated bong brush also makes cleaning the twisted midsection much easier than trying to reach it with a paper towel. And if you want to upgrade the bowl down the line, any 18.8mm glass bowl or ash catcher fits the Mr. Twister's joint.
We've handled hundreds of Ehle pieces over the years, and the Mr. Twister is one of those products that sells itself the moment someone picks it up. The twist catches the light in a way that photos don't quite capture — in person, the glass has a clarity that makes the spiral look almost liquid. Customers who've bought one tend to baby it, but honestly, it's tougher than it looks. We've seen daily-use Mr. Twisters come back into the shop (when their owners were upgrading to a second one, not replacing a broken one) still looking sharp after years of use.
The one thing we'd flag: the 450mm height means it's not a pocket bong. You need a decent surface to set it on, and storing it upright is a must — laying it on its side with the downstem in is asking for trouble. A padded bong bag is worth considering if you plan to move it between locations. But for a home setup, this is the best glass ice bong we carry for the money.
No. Borosilicate glass can handle thermal shock, but the rapid temperature changes and harsh detergents in a dishwasher can damage the ground-glass joint over time. Stick to hand washing with isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt for the best results.
The carb hole is built into the bong. "Optional" means you can use it or ignore it. Cover it with your finger during the draw and release to clear, or just leave it alone and lift the bowl to clear instead. Both methods work fine.
Yes. The 18.8mm ground-glass joint is the most common standard size. Any 18.8mm bowl, ash catcher, or precooler will fit without adapters. The included Ehle glass bowl is solid, but you've got full compatibility if you want to swap.
Pour isopropyl alcohol (90% or higher) and a tablespoon of coarse salt into the tube. Cover the openings, shake gently for 30-60 seconds, and rinse with warm water. A flexible bong brush helps reach inside the twist. Clean after every few sessions to prevent resin buildup.
Yes. Ehle made this design specifically for our shop. You won't find the Mr. Twister with this exact twist pattern and specification at any other retailer. Each piece carries Mr. Ehle's personal signature as proof of individual inspection.
Absolutely. The ice cools the smoke significantly before it reaches your mouth, reducing throat irritation. On a 450mm tube with water filtration at the base and ice notches near the top, the difference between an iced and non-iced draw is night and day. Three or four cubes is the sweet spot.
The Mr. Twister has 5mm borosilicate walls. Budget bongs typically run 2-3mm in standard soda-lime glass. That's roughly double the thickness in a stronger material — you can feel the difference the moment you hold it.
