Greengo King Size Cones — unbleached, pre-rolled, ready to go

Greengo King Size Cones are pre-rolled papers made from unbleached, chemical-free, 100% biodegradable hemp paper. Each cone is 109mm long with a built-in filter tip, sold in packs of three. Grind your herb, pack the cone, twist the tip, light up — that's the whole process.

Why roll with Greengo cones

Honestly? Because rolling a clean king size by hand is a skill, and most of us are mediocre at it. Pre-rolled cones skip the fiddly bit and deliver an evenly-packed smoke every time. Greengo's take adds the eco angle without charging a premium — unbleached paper, no chlorine, no calcium carbonate, no dyes. Just hemp paper and a filter tip, packed three to a sleeve.

The 109mm length is proper king size — roughly the same as a RAW or OCB king, long enough for a group smoke, short enough to still feel reasonable when it's just you. The paper is thin enough to burn slowly and evenly, which is where a lot of cheaper unbleached papers fall over. We've seen budget hemp cones canoe halfway down the side after three puffs. These don't.

The filter tip is pre-fitted at the mouth end — it's a rolled cardboard tip, not an activated-carbon filter, so it keeps ash and bits of herb out of your mouth rather than filtering anything pharmacologically. That's the industry standard for rolling cones and what most smokers actually want.

How to use Greengo King Size Cones

  1. Grind your herb to a medium consistency — too fine and it packs tight and restricts airflow, too coarse and it burns unevenly.
  2. Hold the cone upright by the filter tip.
  3. Spoon or sprinkle the ground herb into the open top. About 1g fills a king size comfortably.
  4. Use a pen, chopstick, or the included packing tool (if you have one) to lightly tamp the herb down. Don't compress it — just settle it.
  5. Twist the paper at the top to seal. Light the twisted tip evenly while drawing slowly through the filter.

Pairs well with a proper grinder — a consistent grind is the difference between a smooth burn and a canoed mess. If you're rolling often, grab a metal 4-piece grinder with a kief catcher. And if you like the Greengo ethos, check their unbleached rolling papers and hemp wick for a fully chlorine-free setup.

Honest limitations

Three cones per pack isn't a lot if you smoke daily — you'll burn through a sleeve in a weekend. For regular rollers, the 32-pack or bulk boxes work out better value. The cardboard filter tip also isn't a true filter in the pharmacological sense; it catches scooby snacks and gives you something to hold, but it doesn't reduce tar or particulate significantly. If harm reduction is the priority, a vaporiser is a different conversation entirely.

One more thing: unbleached paper has a slightly earthier taste than bleached white paper. Most people prefer it — it's why RAW built a whole brand around the look — but if you're used to white OCB, the first cone might taste different.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much herb fits in a Greengo King Size Cone?

Around 1 gram of ground herb fills a 109mm king size cone comfortably. You can pack up to 1.2g if you tamp firmly, but leave room to twist the top closed.

Are Greengo cones actually biodegradable?

Yes. The hemp paper and cardboard filter tip are 100% biodegradable. No chlorine bleach, no calcium carbonate, no dyes or inks on the paper itself. They'll break down in compost over a few months.

What's the difference between bleached and unbleached rolling cones?

Bleached cones use chlorine or peroxide to make the paper white; unbleached cones skip that step, leaving the paper its natural brown colour. Unbleached burns slightly slower and has an earthier taste. Most experienced rollers prefer unbleached.

Does the filter tip actually filter anything?

Not pharmacologically. The cardboard tip stops loose herb and ash reaching your mouth, and gives the cone structural support. It doesn't reduce tar, THC, or particulate matter in a meaningful way — that's just how rolled tips work.

How should I store unused cones?

Keep them in the original sleeve, in a dry drawer away from direct sunlight. Humidity makes the paper soft and harder to light evenly. Stored properly they'll stay fresh for a year or more.

Can I use these cones with a joint-filling machine?

Yes. Greengo cones work with standard cone-filling tools like the Saverette or any tamping-stick loader. The 109mm length is standard king size, so anything designed for RAW or OCB cones fits Greengo too.
