Vaporizers
by DynaVap
The DynaVap M7 is a battery-free thermal extraction device that heats dry herbs with a torch lighter instead of electronics. Launched for DynaVap's 7th anniversary, it's built entirely from medical-grade stainless steel in the USA — no plastic, no circuit boards, no charging cables. Just a pen-sized vape that fits in your pocket and works anywhere you can strike a flame.
We've stocked DynaVap since the early models, and the M7 is the most polished version yet. Pick it up and you'll notice immediately: the weight feels substantial (not hollow like cheaper vapes), the engraved texture along the stem catches light with an almost holographic sheen, and the whole thing has a silver, near-platinum finish that looks far more expensive than it is. It's the kind of object you actually want to hold.
The M7 ships ready to use straight out of the box. Here's what you get:
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| M7 body | Complete assembled unit — cap, tip, stem, mouthpiece |
| Cap | Stainless steel with integrated click disc for temperature feedback |
| Tip | Revised design with grooved airflow channels and adjustable chamber |
| Stem | Engraved stainless steel with airport for draw resistance control |
| DynaStash | Not included — sold separately |
No batteries, no charger, no pods. You will need a torch lighter (a single-flame jet lighter works best for precision) or a DynaVap induction heater if you prefer hands-free heating. Neither is included.
The M7 measures roughly 92mm assembled — small enough to disappear into a jeans pocket. Every component is stainless steel, which means it survives drops, scratches, and years of daily use without degrading.

The M7 is a lifetime piece of kit. Medical-grade stainless steel doesn't corrode, doesn't off-gas at vaping temperatures, and doesn't develop that funky taste you get from cheaper alloys after a few months. We've seen original DynaVap Ms from 2018 still going strong — the steel just doesn't quit.
Run your thumb along the M7's stem and you'll feel the finely engraved texture. It's not just decorative: it gives you grip when the device is warm and your fingers are slightly damp. The engravings around the airport are precise, almost watch-like in their detail. Compared to the M Plus from 2023, the M7 looks and feels like DynaVap hired a jeweller.
The one honest limitation: stainless steel conducts heat. Even with the M7's 20% reduction in heat transfer from tip to stem (thanks to that slim juncture between the two), the lower portion of the device does get warm during back-to-back sessions. It's never burning hot — but if you're doing 3 or 4 consecutive heat cycles, you'll notice it. Spinning the device while heating and giving it 30 seconds between cycles keeps things comfortable.
Electronic portable vapes are brilliant — until the battery dies at the worst possible moment, or the heating element gives up after 18 months, or a firmware update somehow makes your vape worse. The M7 sidesteps all of that. No battery to degrade, no electronics to fail, no planned obsolescence.
There's a practical argument too. A torch lighter refill costs almost nothing and lasts weeks. You're not tethered to USB-C cables or wall sockets. Camping, festivals, a long walk — the M7 just works. We've sold electronic vapes for over 20 years, and we'd still pick a DynaVap for reliability. The Mighty+ from Storz and Bickel is the gold standard for electronic portables, no question. But it's also significantly more expensive, heavier, and eventually its battery will need replacing. The M7 will outlast it.
The trade-off? Learning curve. Heating a DynaVap with a torch takes practice. Your first few sessions might produce wispy vapour or slightly uneven extraction. By your fifth session, you'll have the technique dialled in. By your tenth, you'll wonder why you ever bothered with batteries.
If you already own the M Plus (2023), here's what DynaVap changed for the M7 and whether it's worth the upgrade:
| Feature | M Plus (2023) | M7 (2025) |
|---|---|---|
| Tip-to-stem heat transfer | Standard | 20% reduction (slim juncture) |
| Chamber size | Standard | Larger, with half-size option |
| Airflow channels | Standard grooves | Revised grooved channels under cap |
| Stem texture | Knurled grip | Finely engraved holographic-sheen texture |
| Airport design | Standard | Engraved surround, same adjustability |
| Aesthetics | Clean, minimal | Silver/platinum finish with engravings throughout |
The biggest functional improvement is the reduced heat transfer. Cooler vapour reaching your lips means more flavour and less harshness, especially on the second and third heat cycles where the tip is already warm. The larger chamber is a close second — it holds more material, which translates to denser hits and better heat retention across the session.
Pro tip from the shop floor: heat towards the base of the cap for larger, warmer hits. Heat towards the tip of the cap for cooler, more flavourful draws. The M7's grooved airflow channels make a noticeable difference on those cooler draws — the vapour feels smoother than on older models.
The M7's tip has an adjustable screen that lets you halve the chamber size. Push the screen halfway up the chamber and you've got a microdose setup — roughly half the material, shorter sessions, lighter effects. This is genuinely useful if you're trying to conserve herbs or prefer smaller, more frequent sessions throughout the day rather than one big one.
Switching between full and half chamber takes about 5 seconds. No tools needed. Just push the screen with a small implement (a paperclip works, or the DynaVap tool if you have one) and you're set.
Complete your DynaVap setup with a single-flame jet torch lighter for precise heating control. A DynaStash storage tube keeps the M7 protected and your herbs fresh when you're on the move. If you want to skip the torch entirely, pair the M7 with a DynaVap induction heater for consistent, hands-free heat cycles.
We see two types of M7 buyers in the shop. The first group already owns a DynaVap — usually an older M or a VonG — and they're upgrading because they want the improved airflow and cooler vapour path. These people already know the torch technique and they're sold before they even pick it up. The holographic stem finish usually seals the deal.
The second group is switching from combustion (joints, pipes, bongs) and wants something that still feels hands-on and ritualistic. Electronic vapes can feel clinical — press a button, wait, inhale. The DynaVap M7 keeps the ritual alive: the torch, the rotation, listening for the click. It's more engaging than pressing a power button, and the flavour difference between combustion and the M7 is night and day. You actually taste your herbs instead of tasting smoke.
One thing we always mention: if you've never used a DynaVap before, your first session will feel a bit awkward. The heating technique isn't difficult, but it's unfamiliar. Give it 3 to 5 sessions. By then, the muscle memory kicks in and you'll be clicking through heat cycles without thinking about it.
A single-flame jet torch lighter gives you the most control over where heat hits the cap. Multi-flame torches work but heat faster and make it easier to overshoot. Standard Bic-style lighters technically work but leave soot on the cap and take much longer. We'd go single-flame every time.
The cap contains a bimetallic click disc that produces an audible click when the chamber reaches vaping temperature. Heat until you hear the click, then stop and inhale. A second click during cool-down tells you it's safe to reheat for another cycle.
The M7 is designed for dry herbs. DynaVap sells a separate DynaCoil accessory that sits inside the tip for use with concentrates and waxes. The coil isn't included with the M7 but is available as an add-on.
Disassemble the M7 into its individual parts — cap, tip, stem. Soak the tip and stem in isopropyl alcohol (90% or higher) for 10 to 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water and dry thoroughly. The cap should be wiped clean but not soaked, as prolonged submersion can affect the click disc. Clean every 1 to 2 weeks with regular use.
A full chamber typically yields 2 to 4 heat cycles, each lasting about 15 to 20 seconds of draw time. Total session time from first heat to spent herbs is roughly 3 to 5 minutes. Half-chamber sessions are shorter — usually 1 to 3 cycles.
The 20% reduction in heat transfer and the larger chamber are the main functional upgrades. If cooler vapour and bigger hits matter to you, yes. If your M Plus is working fine and you're happy with the draw, the upgrade is more about aesthetics and refinement than a dramatic performance leap.
Yes. The M7's 10mm tip fits directly into most 10mm female glass joints. For 14mm joints, you'll need a DynaVap fat mouthpiece adapter. Running the M7 through water cools the vapour further and makes larger hits noticeably smoother.
Less than combustion, but yes — vapour still has an aroma. It dissipates faster than smoke and doesn't cling to fabrics the same way. In an enclosed room, someone nearby will notice. Outdoors or near an open window, it's minimal.
