The Arizer XQ2 Tuff BowlGrips Pack is a set of two heat-safe silicone grips that slide over the ends of your glass bowl, protecting both the glass and your fingers during desktop vaping sessions. They're made specifically for the Arizer XQ2 and fit both the Glass Connoisseur Bowl and the Glass Cyclone Bowl — no guessing, no forcing, just a snug fit.

Complete your XQ2 setup with replacement Glass Cyclone Bowls or Glass Connoisseur Bowls — having a spare means you can load a fresh bowl while the first one cools. If your whip tubing is looking tired, Arizer replacement whip kits are worth grabbing at the same time.
Here's the thing about the Arizer XQ2: it heats up to 260°C. That ceramic heater does a brilliant job with your herbs, but it also turns your glass bowl into something you really don't want to grab bare-handed. We've seen customers juggle hot bowls like they're handling a fresh-from-the-oven baking tray — it's not graceful, and sooner or later the bowl meets the floor.
Glass bowls aren't cheap to replace, and a cracked Cyclone Bowl mid-session is properly annoying. The Tuff BowlGrips add a layer of silicone around each end of the bowl, giving you a cool, grippy surface to hold onto. They weigh almost nothing and stay put once fitted. The silicone feels slightly tacky to the touch — not sticky, just enough texture that the bowl won't slip out of your fingers even when you're relaxed and not paying full attention.
One honest limitation: they don't make the bowl itself cool down faster. The glass between the grips still holds heat for a minute or two after you pull it from the heater. So grip the silicone ends, not the middle. That said, for under a tenner, these save you from replacing a bowl that costs three or four times as much. We'd call that a no-brainer.
We've been stocking Arizer gear for years, and the XQ2 is one of those desktop vapes that people genuinely keep for a long time. The bowls are the one weak point — not because they're poorly made, but because glass plus heat plus butter fingers equals trouble. These BowlGrips are the kind of accessory you don't think about until you've already dropped a bowl once. Buy them before that happens, not after.
Compared to wrapping a tea towel around the bowl (yes, we've seen people do this), the Tuff BowlGrips are purpose-built, heat-rated, and don't leave fibres near your vapour path. They're also a better solution than generic silicone bands — those tend to be the wrong diameter and slide around. These are Arizer's own accessory, made to the exact dimensions of the Connoisseur and Cyclone bowls.
Yes. Both bowls share the same end dimensions, so one BowlGrip design fits either. You get 2 grips per pack — enough for one complete bowl.
Absolutely. They're made from heat-safe silicone and designed to stay on during use. That's the whole point — grip the silicone ends when you remove the hot bowl from the XQ2 heater.
No. They sit on the outer ends of the bowl, not on the section that inserts into the heater. The fit stays the same — snug and secure.
Pull them off the bowl and wash with warm soapy water. Silicone doesn't absorb residue, so they rinse clean in seconds. Let them dry fully before refitting.
No. The Tuff BowlGrips are designed specifically for the Arizer XQ2 bowls. The Extreme Q uses different bowl dimensions, so these won't fit properly.
Two — one for each end. Each pack contains exactly 2 grips, so one pack covers one bowl completely.
